Using the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Curriculum and the High Scope Daily Routine, we encourage the children to make their own choices which helps to develop confidence and independence. Children will learn through a combination of planned activities, free play and first hand experiences. The routine encourages children to socialise with others and experience small groups of children as well as exploring and investigating toys and activities alone or with a supportive staff member. Topics covered during the year will vary according to the likes and dislikes of the children. Concepts such as basic shapes, colours, numbers and letters of the alphabet will be introduced in a very relaxed and fun loving manner.
