Snag & Inspect (also known as S& I Inspection) was founded by Douglas Ralph in 2009 with the support from His Highness Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan after realizing the need and potent demand for a high quality inspection.

Snag & Inspect is the only inspection company in the United Arab Emirates certified by the International Association of Certified home Inspectors - InterNACHI and one of the only two (2) companies that are recommended by RERA (Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Agency), which assures professionalism and excellent service. We pride itself on the quality and professionalism of its services and the substantial practical and financial benefits we bring to our clients and is proud to offer our services to all stakeholders in Real Estate.

The team at Snag & Inspect has over 70 years of inspection experience behind them. Many of the team also bring addition skills to the company, they include Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Fire Engineering, Facade Engineering and a Construction Materials Specialist. Through our Consulting Partners we can also deliver specialist services for A/C systems, and Fire Protection systems.

At present, Snag & Inspect with the aid of its new local partner, is still building up its clients’ base however, considering it is still a young company, it has already cultivated its niche in the market through the high quality reports, attention to detail and high ethical standards in all its provided services such as: Building Audits and Inspections, Specialist Investigations, Corporate Services and Theme Park Inspection.

The company provided support for Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA’s) involvement in the implementation of Dubai’s “Jointly Owned Property Law” which was established to provide quality consumer protection for property purchasers when the company began working with RERA in late 2011. Snag & Inspect has also supported the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) with their desire to raise the standards of property inspection within the Emirate. Snag & Inspect also developed the latest revision of the RERA Building Condition Audit check list. The company has been involved with several government departments both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, exploring the development of training, standards, Fire & Life Safety, Health & Safety and Building Maintenance. As projected, this involvement shall be enhanced as the governments implore reforms towards time.
