Selected vegetables is a multi-product selling department store in Abu Dhabi catering to vegetables, fruits and spices. From ‘farm to store’ is the motto of the store.

Early days……. With a legacy of more than forty years, Selected Vegetables was started by Late Ibrahim Haaji in 1971 in Abu Dhabi. In the early days known by the name A A Stores they were famous for selling a variety of fresh vegetables from around the world. Today having undergone extensive renovation and branding, the store is managed by the son of Late Ibrahim Haaji, Mr. Ismail Ibrahim. Renamed as Selected Vegetables their passion is bringing for consumers vegetables from farms around the world.

Speciality All vegetables sold at the store are selected and brought from various parts of India and Sri Lanka. Believing in the concept of ‘farm to store’, Ismail Ibrahim ensures that the concept is maintained and the vegetables are transported from a farm direct to the store. The vegetables are mainly sourced from Mumbai and Kerala, with some imports from Sri Lanka. Apart from these place, the store also stocks locally grown produce from farms in the UAE.

Keeping in mind the growing needs of consumers, the store also stocks spices and curry powders. They also stock fruits and this is mainly seasonal so the freshest fruits in season are available to consumers.

Selected Vegetables supplies all of its goods to several hotels and restaurants in the region. The store is also happy to provide home delivery of its fresh produce to consumers.

From a small store selling vegetables to a multi-product departmental store, Selected Vegetables has progressed only because of the trust and love of its customers particularly residing in Abu Dhabi. The owners would like to thank its supporters and promise to keep up the quality of its products.
