The Palm Jumeirah Monorail runs from the Gateway Station along Al Sofouh Rd, beside One and Only Royal Mirage hotel to Atlantis hotel.
(The Monorail runs within the Palm Island of Dubai (Palm Jumeirah Island) it is one of the most ambitious real-estate developments on earth, heralded as the 8th wonder of the world as it can be seen from space. The Palm Island features themed luxury hotels, luxury villas, luxury apartment buildings, beaches, marinas, luxury restaurants, and a variety of luxury retail outlets. The route has four stations: Gateway, Al Ittihad Park (closed) Nakheel Mall (closed) and Atlantis. The monorail is open 7 days a week from 1000am to 1000pm with Rates of 15aed for Single Journey and 25aed for Return Journey.

The elevated monorail offers some very nice views of the the Palm, the city, and even the nearby Burj Al Arab hotel, especially when approaching the Atlantis hotel, when the road goes through the underwater tunnel and the monorail travels above the sea, offering a spectacular view of the hotel.
