New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) offers 90 degree programs worldwide, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees, in more than 50 fields of study, including architecture and design; arts and sciences; education; engineering and computing sciences; health professions; management; and osteopathic medicine. In 2005, NYIT has been established in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Offering undergraduate degree programs in Interior Design (B.F.A.) and Business Administration (B.S.B.A.), and graduate degree programs in Business Administration (M.B.A), NYIT AD has received initial accreditation by the Commission for Academics Accreditation, United Arab Emirates Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. In the U.S., NYIT is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

NYIT awards the same degree to students at the Abu Dhabi campus as its flagship campuses in New York. With constant collaboration across continents, NYIT courses in Abu Dhabi are taught by internationally recruited professors who meet the same stringent standards as those in the United States. Because all classes are conducted in English, students must be able to speak and write in English.
