Glass fiber Reinforced Concrete widely known as ‘GRC’ is composite materials consisting of Portland Cement, Fine aggregates, Water, Alkali-Resistant Glass Fibers and additives which when mixed in certain proportions and manufactured under controlled conditions with appropriate equipment’s, achieves physical properties that allow it, to be used for numerous cladding applications, especially those where weight is a significant factor in the design.

‘GRC’ materials can be painted, faced with fine aggregates, coloured or simply left with the natural white or grey, smooth or textured finish. ’GRC’ presents the construction field with the material from which the most ambitious designs can be created. It can be molded to form modern futuristic designs or to replicate traditional historic features. ’GRC’ elements are more suitable for traditional Islamic architecture.
