The Heavenly Animal Rescue And Adoptions ,Dubai is a Dubai based animal welfare organization founded on January,2013. We were launched with the aim of providing a support and help to the abused and mistreated animals in Dubai. The Heavenly currently has 89 successful adoptions which include various cats and dogs and 27 foster pets at the moment. We work in co-ordination with ‘ The Bin Kitty Collective ‘ and ‘ The creatures Oasis , Jumaeirah ‘ in our welfare works. Our motto is “ Let Us Be the cause for a better future for the furry buddies amongst us “ . Heavenly Was Founded by Nijeesh Najeeb. We have rescued pets from places like Deira , Bur Dubai Etc.. Our rescue procedures are simple : 1) We are informed on our facebook page or by mail about a pet in need of help or emergency re location . 2) we verify the location by directly sending volunteers down to the location. 3) the pet is placed in a carrier and is taken to the nearest vet. 4) it is vet checked and given vaccinations . 5) they are moved to our foster homes. 6) we advertise them until a interested family turns up . Another main function we do are Neutering the rescues. It avoids the pets having their future generations. Some people oppose this but we will explain it right here, there are thousands of dumped pets on the streets because the people who do so belive they are ‘EXTRA’ . It is due to this simple reason we can see thousands of pets roaming the streets. Neutering prevents the birth of these ‘EXTRAS’ and thus reducing the amount of pets in need. The reason behind our current success are our team of unpaid volunteers who are there to attend all pleas we receive. We strongly belive that animal welfare in UAE will have a stronger force if more people are made aware of the different programs and movements taking place under different organizations.
