Fujairah Bullfighting

Fujairah Bull Fighting is "Free Entry" weekly event that happens every Friday between 13.00 -17.00. crowds opposite the Fujairah Corniche.

Each fight lasts for just over a 1-2 minutes. There are no matadors or picadors. The bull that manages to push his rival towards the edge of the fighting arena is declared the winner.

It is usually the bull owners who sit inside the arena. There is no question of being scared of the bulls, as the owners are well aware of how to get the animals under control," Abdullah Khamis, Resident (via Gulf News)
