Advanced Marine Survey (AMS) & Advanced Testing Services (ATS) previously known as Independent Bureau of Inspection and Testing (IBIT). The company IBIT started in Sharjah in 2007 to cater the business in the field of inspection and laboratory testing. Our major inspection activities Loading and discharging supervision involving inspection, inspection related analysis and certification of quality and quantity of Cargo, Bulk Petroleum products, Base Oil, Pressurized Parcels, Chemicals and the laboratory is capable of performing complete analysis of Fuel, Diesel, Lubricants, Base Oil and Bitumen as per ASTM and ISO standards. The company is lead by Mr. Shaji Purushothaman who worked previously as a senior manager in inspection companies like Intertek, Geochem etc., Mr. Purushothaman is experienced of more than 24 years with international inspection companies and leading a term of highly experience and technically qualified professionals in the company.

The company has changed the name into AMS based on the instruction of economic department of Sharjah. The reason being this Independent Bureau of Inspection and Testing (IBIT) name resembles to the names of governmental organizations hence compelled to form two separate companies under the same management. Advanced Marine Survey focuses on Marine inspections with the following activities and Advanced Testing Services based Ajman emirates focuses on laboratory services of petroleum products.
