تتولى دائرة الثقافة والسياحة إدارة قطاع السياحة في الإمارة وتسويقه عالمياً من خلال مجموعة واسعة من الأنشطة التي تهدف الى استقطاب الزوار بما يخدم استقطاب المزيد من الاستثمارات. ويشمل ذلك تنظيم واستضافة الفعاليات الرئيسية والترويج لها. وترتبط سياسات وخطط وبرامج الهيئة بالمحافظة على التراث والثقافة، بما في ذلك حماية المواقع الأثرية والتاريخية وتطوير متاحف جديدة كجزء من المنطقة الثقافية في جزيرة السعديات في أبوظبي مثل اللوفر أبوظبي، متحف زايد الوطني، وجوجنهايم أبوظبي. وتدعم الهيئة أيضاً برنامج مستمر من الأنشطة الفكرية والفنية، إلى جانب الفعاليات الثقافية، لتغذية البيئة الثقافية الغنية وإعلاء تراث الإمارة بهدف إثراء حياة المقيمين والزوار على حد سواء




Department of Culture and Tourism manages the emirate’s tourism sector and markets it internationally through a wide range of activities and major events, aimed at attracting both culturally sensitive visitors and increased investment. While it is busy forging new relationships across the world, the Authority is also focusing on developments at home. A clear priority is to ensure the preservation of Abu Dhabi’s cultural heritage, especially its historic and archaeological sites. However, its focus is not solely on the past. As part of its management of the emirate’s tourism sector, the Authority is also responsible for overseeing the development of the new, landmark museums in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island Cultural District, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. It is also committed to supporting an ongoing programme of events and intellectual and artistic activities aimed at nurturing a cultural environment that will be enriching for residents and visitors alike
