Welcome to 815 Dancentre!

A Performing Arts school that specializes in Freestyle Disco and Street Dance. Whether you want to dance for fun, exercise, or to progress as an expressive dancer our classes accommodate all.

815 Dancentre opened in England in 2005. Over 500 students have trained at 815 and many have won competition titles. Our students have a 100% pass rate in IDTA exams and some have become professional dance teachers.

815 Dancentre opened in Dubai in November 2013 and we pride ourselves on having fully qualified teachers with over 10 years experience.

Welcome to 815 Arts Training Centre.
Our Studio is based in Dubai Silicon Oasis and we hold our classes at other locations across Dubai.
We offer training in Freestyle Disco Dance, Street Dance, Ballet, Tap, Drama, and Musical Theatre. We also have Zumba & Hip Hop classes for Adults.
Our Classes are instructed by fully qualified and experienced teachers.
We currently offer classes for all ages
and all new students are welcome to a trial class.

Director, Instructor, Choreographer

UK born Tara Hembry has 10 years of experience as a dance teacher and choreographer. She is a motivated, enthusiastic instructor with a passion to teach.

Tara has experience in various styles of dance that include Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Rock & Roll, Latin American, Ballroom and Freestyle Disco.

Tara’s passion for Freestyle dance, lead her to compete all over the UK in dance competitions for over eleven years. During this time, she won many Freestyle and Street dance competitions; including The Freestyle World Cup Championship of 1993 and The Street dance Championship of 2000.

In 2005 Tara obtained her IDTA Teaching qualification in Freestyle/Disco Dance and launched her own dance studio where she has taught Freestyle and Street Dance classes for the last 8 years. During this time she has trained her students to compete in competitions all over the UK, where they have won many titles. Tara has choreographed many formation teams and dance shows and her students have a 100% pass rate in IDTA dance examinations.

Now based in Dubai Tara is very excited to bring Freestyle classes to the UAE and has opened 815 Arts Training Centre.

Tara is driven by her passion to inspire young people to be the best dancers they can be.
