University of Bolton, UAE Academic Centre RAK

The University of Bolton, RAK Academic Centre began academic operations in 2008 and since then has seen five batches of students graduated. All the programmes delivered at the branch campus in RAK are directly equivalent to those offered in Bolton; they are assessed by the same examination boards and moderated by the same external examiners. All degree certificates are issued directly by the University of Bolton, UK and these are identical to those offered to students at the parent campus with the transcript mentioning the UAE as place of study.

Transfer options to UK Campus / Study Trips
All the students studying at the University Academic Centre have the opportunity to transfer to the main Campus in the UK. The students can also visit the parent campus on a study tour which happens on regular basis.

Academic merit scholarships
The University Academic Centre offer Academic merit scholarships worth AED 1 Million on an annual basis. These scholarships are been awarded based on the student academic performance within the respective country and at the University Centre in RAK.
Internship and Placement opportunities
The University Centre has been associated with more than 200 Companies in UAE. Students are encouraged to pursue internships during the summer semesters and there is help available readily to secure final placements.
Visa Processing

All the students studying at the University Academic Centre are sponsored by the University and the visa processing is very reliable with quick turnaround times.
Over 90 % of our students find gainful employment within three months of them graduating and the campus is well served with extensive linkages it maintains with over 200 companies that provide internships & placement opportunities to our students.
