Special Care Centre For Persons With Disabilities

Special Care Centre (SCC): Transforming children's lives through raised aspirations for them.

First set up 25 years ago under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Special Care Centre(SCC) is an organization for students with special needs and disabilities.

SCC provides education for students aged 4 to 24 years. SCC offers a unique curriculum with therapeutic, academic and vocational strands. The Centre is the first Therapeutic Community for children and young people n the Middle East that is registered with the Community of Communities that is run by the British Royal College of Psychiatrists. It is also one of only two Asdan (UK) registered centres in Abu Dhabi.

The Centre aims to prepare students to make a successful transition to adulthood and employment, wherever possible.
