Strength & Stretch: These are excellent body sculpting classes using low weights and body weight in a relaxed atmosphere. “Not only do we workout but I help to improve posture and relax your back and joints. As a 20 year veteran in fitness training, I also take a personal interest in your body type and ability in our group sessions”.
NIA- Joy of Movement - The NIA fitness technique is mind/body physical conditioning. Nia combines martial arts, modern dance arts and yoga in a workout set to music. Nia dance cardio fitness classes are taught by instructors licensed in the Nia Technique. Each class includes mindful movement guidance and somatic education; class cycles include warm-up, sustained non-impact aerobic conditioning, strength training, cool down and stretching.
