“Masrah Masr” is a new type of play with which Al Hayat TV channel has obtained the exclusive rights to film and broadcast to its audiences all over the world; it was originally aired under the name “Teiatro Masr”, which is the Arabic translation of “Egypt Theater”. Then MBC MASR, which is one of the MBC channel’s largest TV groups in the Middle East, bought the exclusive rights to broadcast the play in its screen, after the massive success to the shows of the play. “Masrah Masr” is not one play, but a series of plays; each has a different scenario and story shown as episodes with a different title and context, but can be classified under comedy, sarcastic, family category. The exciting part is that with the shows in the Emirates, there will be totally new and very exciting pieces, which will be performed for the first time ever.
