A play of light, funk and function:

Light.Func is a boutique studio established in both Dubai, UAE and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with the aim of providing the built environment with a holistic approach to lighting design: fundamentally functional and technically correct lighting solutions but always keeping an eye on the visual impact of users and gazers; on a personal level.

Our commitment goes beyond just design, for without the technical aspect, the creative is lost. We provide technical assistance during installation and commissioning, no matter where the project is based. - such is our passion.

And the same passion prevails in all disciplines of architecture and design: retail, residential, commercial, industrial, urban, as well as light art; we approach all projects and discipline with the same gusto - an imaginative and fun design process, because simply we love what we do!

Rather than limit ourselves to a description of which projects we work on, we would rather say we bring soul light to any and all spaces, in and out.

Ultimately the goal is to look back and be satisfied with what we have managed to create in tandem with all the professionals involved in each project, the visibility of which is only possible with light.
