The Fire Station Sharjah is being operated jointly by firefighters from EFRC and Civil Defence Sharjah since 01.08.2009. The City of Sharjah, which is located adjacent to Dubai at the Arabian Gulf, has circa 800.000 inhabitants, the Emirate Sharjah has approximately 950.000 inhabitants.

Samnan Civil Defence-Station is located in the Samnan-Area of Sharjah City near the Cricket-Stadium and the Industrial Areas at Wasit Street. This is an optimal location for response in all directions, particularly the travel-times of our platoon to Down Town Sharjah, to the 17 Industrial Area´s with a complete size of about 35 square-kilometers and to the Highway´s E 11 (Al Ittihad Road), E 88 (Al Dhaid Road) and E 311 (Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road).
