My name is Ken Thorne, I am a British expatriate and the sole owner of the company. I have a large family with 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild and another one the way. All of them are regular visitors to our villa in Dubai which originally had an unfenced swimming pool.

I have been involved with water sports for many years and I am very conscious of the need for the up most safety precautions around water. With this in mind, I decided to set up ‘Baby Secure’ after trying unsuccessfully to locate a company within the UAE who could install safety measures, suitable to the needs I would require.
