History

Auto Care Waterless Car Wash & Detail Centre was conceived through the innovative mind of Fujairah-based businessmen Mr. Ghassan Balkis, his sons Basim Balkis and Jad Balkis. As water wastage is a primary concern in the region, they wanted to aid in preserving water by creating a product that will cause a positive contribution to the environment. It was decided it was time for the very first waterless car cleaning service in the region. Auto Care Waterless Car Wash & Detail Centre was officially launched in 2008, with the objective to seek an environmentally friendly product that could clean cars without using water, yet giving a scratch free, protective and superior finish.
Along with the establishment of Auto Care Waterless Car Wash & Detail Centre, a line of biodegradable and “green” products were born.

How a Waterless Car Wash Works

A true waterless car wash works by containing a key ingredient called surfactants – the main ingredient of these products – that is organic or anything free of petrochemicals.
Moreover, a waterless car wash helps the environment by saving water. Ordinary car washes usually use between 20 – 50 gallons of water. In addition to this, washing your vehicle with a detergent will result in a soapy water mixed with residue from exhaust fumes, oil, and gasoline that will end flowing into the drainage or absorbed by the soil in surrounding areas. With a chemical car wash however, the only water you will ever need is the one that you will need to wash the towels that you have used.
Our waterless car cleaning products are silicone and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) free.
What makes our waterless products so unique is that it is made of special lubricating agents that clean by emulsifying the dirt with natural surfactants and encapsulating them to lift them off the paint. It does not have any components that can potentially scratch your cars paint, is free of petroleum distillates and is VOC compliant. Moreover, its formulation also has polymers that provide added protection and lasting effects on the car surface. The way these polymers work is that they leave a protective film on the surface that enhances color, gloss and give a type of smoothness that cannot be achieved through conventional car washes.

Benefits of using Microfiber Towels

Microfiber is a synthetic material that consists of an interlocking blend of two fibers: polyester and polyamide. Polyester is a fiber that is useful for polishing and cleaning while polyamide is a fiber that is absorbent and quick-drying. When the two fibers are combined, the individual qualities of both fibers are united, creating the uniqueness and effectiveness of microfiber as a material.
The revolutionary technology and effectiveness of the microfiber lies in the construction of each strand. Each microscopic strand of microfiber has been split, creating millions of tiny hooks that attract, absorb and remove all kinds of dirt, dust and bacteria from a surface. Each strand of fiber is shaped like a wedge, trapping the dirt until it is washed. Since the dirt gets trapped in the fibers, the same microfiber cloth or mop head can be used for a longer period of time cleaning larger surface areas before having to be laundered. Each square inch of microfiber contains approximately 90,000 fibers.
Microfiber is a lint-free, non-abrasive, and hypoallergenic product that allows you to clean without the use of chemicals. Unlike traditional cotton and paper wiping products or cotton mops that tend to push or smear dirt and grime, microfiber actually gets underneath the dirt and germs, lifting them from the surface and trapping them until the cloth or mop is laundered. Microfiber is very absorbent and can hold up to seven times its weight in moisture. Microfiber towels can be used on most surfaces including stainless steel, chrome, aluminum, mirrors,
carpets, plastic, polished surfaces, silver, fiberglass, granite, Plexiglas, Teflon, vinyl, painted surfaces, brass, porcelain, marble, rubber, upholstery, appliances, anodized metals, ceramic tiles, pets, glass, crystal, wood, hard wood floors, leather, high lacquered finish and more! Microfiber towels can be used to clean and remove dirt, soap scum, lubricants, dust, food, fingerprints, solvents, grime, sticky residue, moisture, wax, grease, silicone and more!

Microfiber consists of millions of tiny hooks that attract, absorb and removed dirt, dust and bacterial from surfaces. Microfiber towels are also lightweight, allowing more to fit into each wash cycle compared to traditional cloths. Microfibers also have a longer life span than traditional cloths, helping to reduce turnover and waste.
